Day 22

 

Day 22, Oct 26th

 

Walked out to the bay, toes in the sand, a cup of hot coffee, packed up, talked to John a Park Ranger, he told me about one of his bike trips, in Germany, and Yugoslavia, before The Fall of the Wall!!! Super cool. A nice and relaxing start of my day, cruised about 7 miles out to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, hung out and rode around for a few hours. Love the beach!! Made my way to Chris’s for dinner time and drinks. The only time, I’ve been in a hurry was today, for dinner plans…… Got a nasty nail in my tire, tried to keep riding, I could feel the nail stabbing the rim as I rode. Pulled over, sent a text, pulled the nail, plugged it, had to use two plugs, added 15 lbs of air, and rollin, took less than 5 min.

My Amanda Ibalio and Darin Southwick met up with us. Great time, food, drinks, laughs!! Then some fire pit chillin with the neighbors, and a few more laughs.
