Day 30, Nov 3rd
Coffee, oatmeal, packed up, rolled into a coffee shop, more coffee and a bagel. Rollin to the
Ocracoke Light house, then to Eduardos, had to have the “Hot Mess” burrito!!!! yes it had avocados, and yes it was delicious , my flavor for avocado is getting a little more tolerant the more I introduce myself. Took a 2 1/2 hour ferry to Cedar Island, met a few guys and gals on the ferry ride over they are gonna watch the shenanigans. Bay Breeze!! stopped in to check the scene, I was the only one in there, had some delicious bbq chicken flat bread, a couple beers, set up camp, met Laura she does a lot of hiking and a little bit of biking too. super chill day, time to go have some more frosty beverages, my phone hasn’t been working on cell alone only wifi the last two days, hopefully it works itself out. I wish I would’ve taken more pics of the evening, I also met a chicka-dee tonight that has the same birthday as me, just one year younger. Met and had some moments with some super cool cats, a very enjoyable day. 2 min of rain this morning. I have been very fortunate. In the last 30 days of biking, I have had only just a little over 3 hours of rain, I know it will catch up to me at some point. So if you are thinking of an adventure, part of it will always be the weather. Just make a decent plan, do it and hope it all works out. Gonna shower now then Rollin out of Cedar Island headed south towards Morehead City
